Vocalocity Announced Acquisition of Aptela | |

Vocalocity, a VOIP services provider, has announced that the company has acquired Aptela, Virginia-based competitor. With this acquisition Vocalocity became a more formidable player across the small business market.
Both companies haven’t reveal the financial details of the deal.
Vocalocity offers Internet-based phone systems to enterprises with number of employees fewer than 20. Company’s products save small companies from the cost and headache of purchasing and maintaining on-premise phone systems.
Adding Aptela's consumers, customer-base of Vocalocity has grown over 30%. The newly combined company now has about 15,000 accounts.
