 MegaPath Announced Acquisition of IP5280

MegaPath, a provider of managed data, voice, and security services across North America, has announced that the company had acquired IP5280 Communications, a cloud-based IP communications provider focused on VoIP and converged IP voice, video and data services.
IP5280 is one of the larger ITSP of hosted HD VoIP to small and medium businesses. The company has over 1,000 business customers in the US. With more than 10,000 endpoints served, it represents one of the larger ITSP Broadsoft customer bases in the country.
The acquisition brings to MegaPath additional two offices of IP5280 and numerous employees in Englewood (Denver), Colorado and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
MegaPath officials commented that the acquisition helps enhance company’s IP footprint and offers company’s customers a broader suite of services. "We are extremely pleased to add such a proven IP communications team to MegaPath, and believe that the combination will further establish MegaPath as one of the leading North American providers in this space."
