Kerio Technologies Introduced Kerio Operator 1.2
| |
26 January 2012
Kerio Technologies has introduced the Kerio Operator 1.2, the latest version of company’s SMB-focused IP PBX phone system. The new version is based on Asterisk 1.8.
As the company stated, support for analog phone lines has been added via Digium TDM410 card, so businesses with limited SIP connectivity can benefit from Kerio Operator’s VoIP features. Moreover, the pricing has been notably reduced.
The VP of business development at Kerio said, "Kerio Operator 1.2 is not so much about new features as it is about increasing security for the VAR and strengthening our mission of putting telephony through the IT channel -- with no more phone guy."
Kerio Operator 1.2 “works in harmony” with Kerio Control’s bandwidth management capabilities. It also integrates with Kerio Connect, enabling users to access, listen or delete voicemails from email inbox.
