µWARP VoIP Firewall poised to protect businesses from malicious hacking on their VoIP telephone networks
PIKA Technologies Inc., a designer and manufacturer of telephony appliances, end-user applications and plug-in media-processing hardware and software building blocks, announced today that they are now accepting applications for their µWARP VoIP Firewall field trials.
Using a revolutionary, patent pending process, the µWARP VoIP Firewall has been created to identify and prevent the most common fraudulent activities on VoIP telephone networks before they happen.
“Hackers targeting vulnerable VoIP networks have become an everyday occurrence,” says PIKA’s CEO and Co-Founder, Peter Karneef. “Businesses can’t afford to be complacent about the security of their VoIP telephone networks and the µWARP VoIP Firewall provides them a way to protect their assets.”
Slated to begin in October 2012, the trials offer the opportunity for approved candidates to get a firsthand look at this highly anticipated new product.
“PIKA is known in the telephony industry for introducing innovative products to the marketplace and the µWARP VoIP Firewall will further solidify that reputation,” added President and Co-Founder, Jim Pinard. “We are looking forward to partnering with leaders in the VoIP telephony world for our field trials.”
The field trial application is now available on PIKA’s website.
