DIDX Offers Vietnam SIP DID, Sister Service Techistan Promotes Popular Vietnam Exhibition

Super Technologies, Inc.'s DIDX wholesale DID exchange and Techistan magazine announce that Vietnam DID are now available on the DIDX wholesale platform. In addition, the two popular online services will be media partner and press agent for the 13th International Exhibition in Vietnam on Telecommunications and Information Technology to take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center Nov. 17-20, 2010.

Vietnam appears to be in a positive regeneration phase with many exciting changes and innovations as of recent. Vietnam operators have recently invested 754 million in the Trans-Asia Marine Cable System. The International VTI company inaugurated Vietnam's link with a 20,000 kilometer submerged optical cable network that will connect Vietnam and seven other countries in the Asia Pacific with the USA.

Suzanne Bowen, vice president of marketing for Super Technologies, Inc. and its Techistan and DIDX services, states, "Vietnam's 10-year plan in ICT for 2010 - 2020 shows a huge demand for fiber-optic communications. Mobile services are thinking forward. The mobile service provider VinaPhone has partnered with Viet Nam HP Co and Cable and Network Materials Joint Stock Co to launch a new mobile 3G service where 3G will be integrated into HP notebook computers. They have also signed new contracts with Motorola's Home & Networks Mobility to expand their GSM network.

The professor Dr. Sc. Do Trung, envoy to the Prime Minister on ICT, Chairman of The National Council for Science and Technology Policy notes in mid-2009 that a 100% fiber-optic network plan is in place for Vietnam. It will deploy 3G licenses to 4 enterprises, Fiber to the Home (FTTH), and Next-Generation Network (NGN). Almost all schools at that time had gained Internet access. ICT measures had and would continue to expand to the rural, mountainous and offshore areas. In fact, 40% of the country's broadcasting facilities had been digitalized with plans for 200% by end of 2010.
