First Telecom to Distribute Sangoma Voice Cards and VoIP Gateways

ATHENS, GREECE--(Marketwire - June 9, 2009) - First Telecom and Sangoma(R) Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE:STC), today announced that First Telecom is an authorized distributor of Sangoma's voice cards and VoIP gateways, providing a local contact for resellers in the Balkans.
First Telecom's initial focus will be to recruit new resellers of PBX solutions, specifically those working with products based on open source telephony projects. Sangoma is a veteran innovator and supplier of PCI telephony cards compatible with major open source projects.
"The adoption of open source telephony is increasing rapidly in the Balkans. After careful evaluation, along with our own long term deployment experience, we identified Sangoma as the true innovator and quality supplier for that market. In one particular large-scale deployment, First Telecom enabled 30 interconnected IP-PBXs in Bosnian police stations using Sangoma's hardware. The distribution partnership is another step towards an already successful cooperation." said Theodore Kotsireas, First Telecom Sales Manager.

The distribution partnership will facilitate expanded distribution of Sangoma's products in Europe. Through this alliance, First Telecom will provide a valuable sales channel and first line of support for Sangoma's Balkan customers.
