 Frontier Delays FiOS TV Rate Hike

According to The Oregonian, Frontier Communications has decided that if the company is not abandoning proposed FiOS TV rate hikes in Oregon, Indiana and Washington, the company needs some more time to deliver the right message before applying them.
In January Frontier has announced about plans to increase FiOS TV rates by 46% because the company didn’t have the clout to discuss reasonable rates for TV programming. For clients who didn’t agree for higher prices the company has offered the possibility to switch to DirecTV satellite service.
Firstly, Frontier announced that new rates would be implemented to new FiOS TV customers in the beginning of 2011 and after new rates would be applied from February 18 for new customers of the company and customers with contracts to expire. In new announcement the company said that rates’ increase would go into effect from March 1.
