 Equinix Signed a Contract with Riverwood Capital to Purchase a Share of ALOG

Equinix put South America as the area for expanding company’s business. Therefore, the company has entered into partnership with Riverwood Capital to purchase a 90% percent share of ALOG Data Centers, based in Brazil, for around $127 million.
According to the deal, Equinix will receive the majority interest in company, Riverwood will keep a significant minority share of 10% owned by ALOG's management team.
After completion of the deal, in the following three years Equinix receives an opportunity to buy 100% of ALOG.
With this partnership and purchasing, Equinix receives a major data center presence in the market of Latin America with a footprint of 95 data centers all over 37 markets.
