China Telecom put in plans to provide cities with optical connection that is why the company has launched "Broadband Optical Network City" to deliver a fiber link to all citizens in next three years.
Due to information from People's Daily Online, plans of China Telecom will rise the network's average download speed to the mark in 20 Mbps or over.
According to company’s officials, the fiber network will be spread to all government, residential and business customers that reside in Southern China.
