 Bell Canada Has Got CRTC Restricted Approval on acquisition of CTV

Bell Canada is now much closer to realize company’s plans to become an integrated telecom and entertainment provider because Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has approved company’s $1.34 acquisition of CTV.
It is not a surprise that CRTC's approval comes with some conditions.
First of all, CRTC has obliged Bell Canada to invest $245 million in broadcasting with a purpose to enhance TV programming. Moreover, CRTC has blocked up Bell Canada to offer exclusive CTV content on company’s wireless or online service before the review will be completed.
Bell Canada expects the deal to be closed in second quarter this year.
