 Telmex Has Created New Division – Telmex Social

Telmex has made a decision to create a new company’s division – Telmex Social targeted to rural customers in the best way.
With the new plan that requires approval from Secretario de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) and some other regulatory organizations, Telmex stated that the new division will serve areas of Mexico where there is no economic interest for any competitor.
According to Bloomberg report, Telmex plans spinning off Telmex Social into a separate company or making two units in a holding company.
Telmex is the leading Mexico's service provider, but anyway, the service provider announced that rural, low-income telephone lines demand "significant investments" for maintaining and running.
