AT&T Has Extended Affiliation Agreement with Starz Entertainment

AT&T has widened its affiliation contract with Starz Entertainment for company’s premium channels, on-demand and HD services.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
The extension of the agreement represents the acquisition of authenticated online rights to provide Encore Online and Starz Online services to company’s premium U-verse subscribers.
The new contract cobbles the way for AT&T to provide the MoviePlex premium channel as well as MoviePlex Online, MoviePlex On Demand and MoviePlex HD On Demand services.
With delivering more content and new options allowing users accessing premium content from relationship with Starz Entertainment will empower AT&T with highly competitive weapon to win cable in the markets with U-verse available.
