 Interoute Has Partnered with GenBand to Deliver IPv6 VoIP Network to Europe

Interoute, the company that owns/operate a European voice and data network, has announced that the company has partnered with GenBand, a company-developer of IP infrastructure and app solutions, to deliver an IPv6 VoIP network to Europe.
GenBand’s representatives said that the company will empower Interoute to widen its SIP Business Trunking solution and Carrier IP Interconnect into company’s Next Generation IPv4 and IPv6 network.
IPv6 offers better support for multimedia and mobility applications; it is enabling growth of VoIP.
Interoute officials announced that the company now is able to broaden its network to mobile operators transferring to IPv6. With collaboration with GenBand the company expects their network to become the first IPv6 VoIP network in Europe.
IPv6 network from Interoute will provide secure Carrier IP Interconnect and SIP Business trunking with improved dynamic routing and controlling along with widening SIP and H.323 interworking capabilities to IPv6.
