 Study: Stress Dynamics and Virtual Offices

American company Virtual PBX has conducted a survey dedicated to pros and cons of virtual offices. The survey was held on over 600 SMEs and results confirmed that 61% of respondents had selected virtual offices because of the higher mobility, 54% explained the choice by costs reduction.
Anyway, the rollout confirmed that in 59% of cases inquiries are much more effective with working from home.
Nevertheless, despite great benefits the virtual offices offer, there are still some difficulties. The companies will need to create new ways of performance evaluation and work planning. The training as usually will be one of the major issues but it will depend more on motivation, self-organization, self-control, time management and distant leadership areas.
