 Synergy Research Group: Telepresence and Videoconferencing Raised 35% in 2010

Synergy Research Group has recently publishe d its report “Enterprise Communications & Collaboration Market Analysis” that underlines top-line revenue growth is characterized by modest speed, there are specific sectors that are developed six times faster.
According to the report, the enterprise communications market raised to $22.3 billion in 2010. Among companies demonstrated strong growth in this sector there are Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft and IBM.
Videoconferencing/Telepresence Systems, Collaborative Workgroup Software and Enterprise Social Networks (ESN) were named as the fastest growing sectors in 2010.
For example, Videoconferencing/Telepresence has grown by 35%; it is a double-digit index of Enterprise Communications & Collaboration spending.
Among other segments noticed in strong growth there are IP Phones, Presence/IM Servers, IP PBXs, Videoconferencing Infrastructure (MCU and non-MCU) and Web Conferencing.
