 MegaFon Will Use Gateways and Routers from Juniper Networks

Juniper Networks has stated that MegaFon, one of leading mobile network operators in Russia, had deployed SRX Services Gateways and MX Series 3D Universal Edge Routers from Juniper Networks.
According to company’s representatives, Juniper routers will deliver secure, fast and scalable high performance mobile Internet services.
MegaFon currently serves more than 56 million customers, offering such services as long-distance communications, mobile and fixed-line broadband Internet as well as convergent services.
MegaFon runs its own network and now transferred from legacy systems to a 3G/LTE network in order to continue market differentiation.
