 Verizon Focuses on FiOS TV Service Delaying OTT Video Plans

Verizon Communications doesn’t reject the possibility to offer company’s customers over the top (OTT) online video service; but now the company focuses all power on widening company’s FiOS TV service customer base.
In order to differentiate company’s video offerings, Verizon intends to make its content mobile through providing clients with access from different devices such as smart phones, tablet computers.
Verizon announced that the company added 192,000 net FiOS TV subscribers in Q1 2011, bringing the number to 4.3 million total FiOS Internet connections.
