23 September 2010

Verizon Business brought for enterprise customer base one more option for managed WAN services by adding Juniper Networks' (NYSE: JNPR) SRX service gateways to its scope of services.

Adding Juniper's SRX to set of services will enable to provide Verizon's multinational business and government agencies extra possibility that's integrated with managed service security support.

With this new step of certifying Juniper Networks' SRX router series with its global set of managed WAN services and integrated security services enables Verizon to design, procure, install, service and manage Juniper's routers in the 142 countries. Moreover, Juniper's SRX routers have been fully integrated into Verizon's managed network design tools, provisioning processes and network management systems including the company's innovative IMPACT system, which offers proactive monitoring and identification, fault isolation, and resolution and performance reporting.

The SRX platforms can support both next-gen IP/Ethernet as well as traditional legacy protocols such as TDM and various flavors of DSL-attributes that will assist Verizon as they move to other countries where they don't have network facilities everywhere.
