Skype Faces Lawsuit from Via Vandis

Via Vandis LLC based in Luxembourg has filed a lawsuit against Skype.
According to federal court documents, Via Vandis claimed Skype infringed upon company’s patents. Moreover, Via Vandis also filed related suits against giant VoIP company in Germany and Luxembourg.
The lawsuit is connected with Skype’s VoIP “communication systems, methods, products and services.”
Via Vadis pretends for unspecified damages and forces Skype to stop the infringement.
Skype declined sharing its source code with Via Vadis.
