Comcast and Skype have officially stated that two companies had made an agreement to deliver the VoIP service to Comcast HDTVs.
Skype customers will receive an opportunity to use most of the functions of the desktop application: to make and receive Skype audio and video calls, send messages through an HDTV connected to a Comcast adapter box.
The collaboration provides true potential to produce a cheaper telepresence option also.
