 PCCW Global and Tinet Announced Ethernet Extension Partnership

PCCW Global, the subsidiary of PCCW Ltd., has entered partnership with Tinet, the IP/Ethernet operator owned by Neutral Tandem. Now two companies have effectively connected Ethernet offerings in order to provide better coverage and reach for wholesale customers and respective enterprise.
In the terms of agreement, Tinet and PCCW Global will together provide international Ethernet connectivity to more than 70 countries; they will receive an opportunity to provide one joint shop for multi-site companies with connectivity demands across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
In the beginning of the collaboration, Tinet and PCCW Global will combine Tinet’s international Ethernet presence with PCCW Global's expertise in international connectivity.
Tinet has recently launched EtherCloud service that can be used by Layer 2 platform service providers to offer connectivity for customers located outside of the network reach.
