 Dell Announced Acquisition of Force 10 Networks

Dell has officially stated about the company’s intends to purchase Force10 Networks. This move demonstrates that the computer company is earnest about making a real impact in the cloud services and data center market.
Force 10 Networks spent last 10 years struggling to become a profitable company. This year the company has announced intends to revamp IPO strategy.
The financial terms of the deal are not disclosed.
According to Dell’s officials, this acquisition will provide the company with a wider range of products that the company can offer to enterprise customer-base. Moreover, this deal will complement company’s portfolio of storage, server, networking and services provided for businesses.
Additionally to getting a new suite of equipment to offer to businesses, Dell will receive Force10's service and support capabilities via its direct sales force, a network of channel partners, systems integrators.
Upon the completion of the acquisition, Dell will maintain Force10's channel program and Chennai, India operations.
