Voice Carrier has stated that the company had recently integrated Skype channel directly into company’s PBX. This move allows international customers and remote workers calling directly to the PBX deploying Skype (voice.carrier). When customers are already in the system they will be able to navigate to conference bridges and extensions.
Company’s officials explained that Voice Carrier provides attractive pricing to the company’s customers: Voice Carrier charges by the concurrent call not on a per-line basis. Therefore, if a business that has phones in every office with some of those phones nearly not used, the business is not charged for them. So, customers are charged depending on the number of people on the phone. Therefore, Voice Carrier can charge for 10 phones instead of 20, for example, and cooperate with the customer in order to adjust up if the customer overcomes the expected average.
Moreover, Voice Carrier’s business model allows customers pairing an extension with numerous SIP clients. So employees are enabled to use the solution on the go deploying mobile devices like iPads and smartphones.
