9 August 2011

Cisco has recently announced that the company team has been enhanced with two new professionals: Neal Oristano and Jim Labovites, both arrived to Cisco from Juniper Networks.
According to Rob Lloyd, the company is significantly enhanced with “the service provider industry's top sales talent” in order to continue driving company’s success. These appointments one more time confirm company’s compelling and differentiated strategy and product innovation.
On their new positions, Oristano and Labovites will be backed by the company’s industry-leading product and services portfolio that offers the Carrier Routing System 3 (CRS-3), Cisco Videoscape TV platform, Aggregated Services Routing (ASR) routing platforms, as well as Cisco data center and services offerings.
The company’s ASR 9000, ASR 5000, and CRS-3 routing platforms represent three of Cisco’s fastest growing product suites.
Cisco’s new ASR 9000 system is empowered by the company’s nV technology; it provides system capability 36 times more than competing products. The company’s ASR 5000 platform plays a key role in empowering leading mobile operators to manage mobile broadband services’ growth.
