 AT&T Partners with InterContinental Hotels Group to Set Up Telepresence Rooms

AT&T and InterContinental Hotels Group have recently announced that they have set up two telepresence rooms at IHG offices located in Atlanta and London.
AT&T’s officials stated that AT&T Business Exchange offering counts currently overn 2,400 on-net telepresence end points all over the world.
This announcement appeared a day after AT&T revealed an online Carbon Impact Assessment Tool to assist businesses to measure their carbon footprint and get advice on ways to lower it with the assistance of AT&T services. The company is highly concerned in environmental impact as the company’s officials in telepresence announcement with IHG commented that a recent study, "The Telepresence Revolution" said that telepresence can cut carbon emissions by almost 5.5 million metric tons, and create economy-wide financial benefits of almost $19 billion by 2020.”
AT&T’s representatives claimed that company’s use of telepresence helped the company cut carbon emissions by over 2,500 metric tons last year and save over $4.1 million in business travel costs.
