Capito Life Technologies, a California-based provider of cloud-based technologies, has recently announced that the company has released a text messaging solution that has been developed to help the health conscious customers monitor and track weight loss.
Textweight is built on an innovative platform that supports ongoing bidirectional SMS messaging; the solution helps customers to monitor and track their weight.
Moreover, the newly introduced service provides targeted messages when a customer has achieved a weight loss goal as encouragement.
According to the press release, the company’s officials explained that there are two factors that inspired the company to create this solution for monitoring and tracking weight. The first factor is the growth of text messaging among the mobile phone users; the second one is people’s intention to stay in shape.
textWeight appeared online on New Year's Day, 2011.
textWeight 2.0 was launched after extensive user feedback and broad testing. This upgraded version offers users increased control over receiving reminders to reply about weight, recommendations for weight management challenges as well as messages of encouragement.
