Transit Telecom, Brazil-based telecom company, has officially stated about launching a push-to-talk (PTT) app via VoIP for smartphones.
With the application installed, this program simulates the performance of wireless calling from different smartphones, using 3G mobile data and Wi-Fi connections.
According to the company’s officials, the service is characterized with unlimited connection, it allows exchanging with text messages. The service will be available within the Transit coverage area that is currently in more than 3,367 cities across Brazil.
The new service now is available in two versions: free basic plan and the corporate plan that costs BRL 19.90 in pre-paid and post-paid mode.
To deploy Transit's PTT system, mobile phones should run Android, Symbian S60 or iOS operating systems.
