 NextiraOne Will Upgrade Poundland’s LAN Infrastructure

NextiraOne has announced that the company had signed a contract with Poundland to upgrade its LAN infrastructure.
Under the terms of the contract, NextiraOne will design, supply and maintain Poundland’s networks at its head office located in the West Midlands, and company’s distribution sites across the UK that are used to run company’s stock control and staff management systems.
NextiraOne has claimed that Poundland's new LAN network will deploy Cisco switches that will allow the company using IP telephony and video calls.
NextiraOne has been working with Poundland since 2004 when NextiraOne was commissioned to upgrade retailer’s LAN and voice networks.
The managing director for the UK & Ireland at NextiraOne commented: "Poundland has always used technology to ensure the efficiency of its operations and achieve its business goals… In a fast-moving consumer goods environment, this has paid off in allowing the company to grow rapidly to its current success."
