2-1-1 California, a non-profit network dedicated to public service, has announced that the company had selected Five9 as company’s virtual call center platform.
The company has been looking for a telephony solution to provide more reliability and business continuity for multi-county 2-1-1 call center. Unique capacities of Five9 meet all company’s requirements.
93% of California's population across 27 counties has access to 2-1-1 California. The state was looking for a solution to allow network coordination in critical times and a solution that would suit limited budget.
Five 9 provides flexible and powerful advanced call routing capabilities that allow individual counties backing each other up in case of a disaster; it offers low infrastructure costs and ability allowing 2-1-1 California to provide disaster response information to counties without access.
Five9’s CEO stated in press release that the business flexibility delivered by Five9 as a cloud-based call center solution, offers counties to provide more efficient service, optimizing available resources.
2-1-1 is an online database and free phone number that connects California residents to relevant services quickly and effectively, and is available 24/7 in 150 different languages.
