14 October 2011

Telchemy, a provider of VoIP and IP Video performance management technology, has announced the rollout of VQmon that has been designed for measuring the quality of video streaming services.
VQmon can perform real- time analysis of video streaming through using Apple, Adobe and Microsoft streaming protocols.
According to the company, VQmon provides analysis of video quality and buffering performance; moreover, it can report detailed performance and QoE metrics.
With VQmon, users are able to analyze the TCP video stream. With analysis of the TCP stream users will receive information on network bandwidth, server performance and the impact of congestion.
VQmon products are licensed to more than 140 equipment vendors; they comprise QoE measurement modules for VoIP, IPTV, videoconferencing and TCP video streaming.
Telchemy’s representatives claimed that VQmon can be integrated into network equipment, client apps, handsets, routers and test equipment in order to empower monitoring of live video sessions.
