 Avistar Communications Announced Revenue Growth

Avistar Communications, a visual communications solutions company, has reported revenues rose 75% in Q3 to $3.9 million in comparison with $2.2 million a year ago. The revenue growth is driven mostly by increased sales to channel partners.
The company announced that net income was $493,000, as compared to a net loss of $1.5 million a year ago.
During Q3, the company signed a license and OEM agreement with Citrix Systems in order to provide software for improving delivery of audio and video solutions to end-users of Citrix. The agreement requires integration of products from Avistar into Citrix's solutions; the deal can bring Avistar $8.7 million.
According to the company’s officials, Avistar sized its operation to ensure that the company had all assets in place I order to succeed in target markets and scale.
Avistar provides desktop videoconferencing capabilities to company’s technology partners such as IBM, Citrix, LifeSize and Logitech.
