Algar Telecom, a provider of telecom services in Brazil, has stated that the company would invest about $1 billion in the expansion of its existing network in the next 5 years. At the present time the company has a customer-base of over 1.6 million and in its plans to continue growing.
Algar Telecom has selected the unified performance management solution from Watch4net that will provide the company’s network with reliability and scalability needed.
With the APG Software Suite Algar will benefit from real-time, historical and projected visibility across the network and IT infrastructure.

The scalable and unified performance management solution was implemented to cover all network technologies and reporting. The AGP retrieves over 1,000 metrics from 7,000 devices. Therefore, devices are analyzed in real-time, performance information is collected, and data is analyzed for the network. With APG problems can be detected in a timely manner.
