 Horizon Globex Introduced New VoIP Smartphone App

Horizon Globex, One Horizon Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, has announced the release of Horizon Call that represents a new smartphone application for bandwidth-efficient mobile VoIP.
The new application is fully compatible with digital telecoms standards and can interconnect phone systems over IP, mobile, fixed and satellite networks.
Company’s officials stated that Horizon Call is based on the company's SmartPacket technology and enables mobile VoIP from 2kbps in comparison with around 8kbps from other services.
The horizon Call is initially available for the iPhone; the app can operate over EDGE, WiFi, 3G, 4G/LTE and WiMax networks. The app deploys wireless bandwidth more efficiently comparing with other mobile VoIP applications.
Moreover, it offers the unique feature that allows users to choose from three different levels of call quality in order to find an optimal balance between consumed bandwidth and quality.
