 US Signal Announced Expansion of Its Managed Security Offering

US Signal, one of leading providers of network infrastructure in the Midwest, has announced the addition of Cloud Based Advanced Security offering to company’s Managed Services portfolio.
US Signal introduced its Managed Data Center private IaaS offering in June 2011. The Managed Data Center is designed to provision and host virtual private servers that are accessible via company’s Dedicated Internet, Ethernet wide-area network and MPLS solutions.
The Cloud Based Advanced Security offers cloud users an additional level of security with addition of a virtual firewall that is placed in a highly redundant cloud and offers a robust feature set: a firewall; anti-spyware; content filtering; anti-malware, web proxy; virus protection, intrusion detection and prevention.
Customers will benefit from a virtual installation with the ability to add supplementary servers.
Company’s officials commented that the Cloud Based Advanced Security is a very economical solution when combined with company’s Internet and private WAN services in order to deliver seamless networking solutions. “With the recent advancements in cloud-based computing and security technologies, we offer carrier-grade performance at a fraction of an enterprise IT budget.”
