Apptix officials said that an add-on to its hosted Exchange e-mail solution, this gateway will help businesses protect themselves from financial losses, damaged reputation, as well as regulatory actions related to unsecured communications.
Apptix Policy Based Encryption Gateway empowers businesses to establish and enforce customized corporate security policies. The Gateway can scan all outgoing email messages, subject lines and attachments and automatically encrypt and send emails.

With the new gateway businesses are able to customize rules for communications and focus on other projects; the gateway will enforce the rules and secure the sensitive data.
