 Patton and Elastix Offer Fully Integrated UC Solution

Patton Electronics, an Ethernet extender provider, has recently introduced a built-in system management tool to integrate Patton’s SmartNode VoIP equipment with Elastix UC communications solutions.
The announcement took place at elastixWorld, 2011.
The elastix World represents a major event in IP telephony that gathers the Elastix worldwide community. The elastixWorld 2011 was held in Mexico City, on November 3- 4. Elastix partners, integrators and developers, resellers and end-users share experiences, as well as showcase new products and develop business opportunities.
The fully-integrated management tools provides Elastix value-added resellers and system integrators with increased productivity and higher profit margins by offering automatic discovery and streamlined provisioning of SmartNode VoIP devices.
At ITEXPO West 2011, Patton and Elastix introduced the mutually-certified UC solution that offered Elastix developers and integrators the following system enhancements: local and remote-office survivability for business continuity, QoS, SIP trunking, distributed call control and VoIP-over-VPN security.
With this latest announcement, the Elastix community members will be able to set up a SmartNode endpoint in minutes.
