12 November 2011

TeleCommunication Systems, one of leading companies in mobile communication technology, has officially stated that the company had incorporated the Hughes HX VSAT system into company’s TCS HX Enabled Secure Satellite Network.
The network service will offer international satellite coverage for military and government customers; moreover, it will improve C4ISR prominence of TCS in secure communications solutions.
According to the officials, the network service will provide transmission security offering higher data rates and better flexibility and bandwidth efficiency.
The TCS HX Enabled Secure Satellite Network will provide support to data, voice and video communications.
TCS’s representatives commented that “this arrangement is 'win-win-win.” Hughes will gain the ability to benefit from expanded coverage into Africa, Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America, while TCS will get the ability to provide its customers with better bandwidth efficiencies as well as TRANSEC capabilities; and customers will receive access to more throughput on less capacity and significant savings.
