Vonage Launches New Ad Campaign | |
21 November 2011
Vonage, a competitive VoIP provider, is getting more aggressive in advertising: the company launches a new campaign that aimed at customers who chose bundled cable services.
The new campaign is aimed to make consumers take a closer look at cable bills.
The company sets a question about the bottom line for customers of cable's bundling practice with slogans like "This bundle of yours is costing us a fortune."
According to Vonage’s officials, about 70% of customers could save money by dropping cable's phone service and going with Vonage.
Leesa Eichberger, Vonage VP-marketing commented that "we found that a lot of people are in bundles, but they don't really know what they're paying. We wanted to raise that question in consumers' minds."
Vonage’s subscriber base is about 2.4 million. The company intends to hit its cable competitors running the ads on cable channels like Discovery, ESPN and the History Channel.
