Texas Instruments(TI), a designer and supplier of DSPs, has recently introduced its new TMS320C66x multicore digital signal processors (DSPs) combining ultra-low power and unmatched performance.
The TMS320C6678 andTMS320TCI6609 multicore DSPs have been designed for high-performance computing apps in financial modeling, oil and gas exploration and molecular dynamics.
As company’s officials claimed, TI’s new suite of multicore DSPs provides outstanding flops per watt performance along with an exceptional level of integration and density.
The company offers free optimized libraries for HPC, making easier to reach maximum performance without spending time for optimizing code.
The C66x KeyStone-based multicore DSPs from TI change the way HPC developers answer the demands for performance, ease of use and power efficiency.
