The network ensures that Allstream can deliver better network resiliency and performance with scalable, high-bandwidth national network.
The enhanced network allows Allstream providing enhanced managed wavelength services to company’s customers in high-capacity transaction environments: data centers, government services and financial institutions.
With the 6500 Packet-Optical Platform from Ciena equipped with WaveLogic coherent optical processors, the company has increased network capacity and resiliency across Canada in order to deliver bandwidth-intensive apps, such as multimedia and social networking, IP-based collaboration tools, advanced Internet services, videoconferencing and remote data storage.
