Frost & Sallivan: Videoconferencing Is Expected to Get CAGR of 19% through 2015

Frost and Sullivan has recently published the report on its recent survey concerning the videoconferencing market. The analytics firm reports that the market grew about 20% in 2010 and received $225.6 million in revenue.
Moreover, the firm forecasts the market of videoconferencing will keep growing and see a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19% between 2010 and 2015. The revenues is expected about $538.2 million.
However, Frost & Sallivan officials commented that interoperability issues and high costs still hamper the market growth.
Large enterprises opt for managed service offering due to the complexity of providing quality video. This trend will help drive the segment to a CAGR of 20% and revenues of $374.1 million by 2015. The study said that telepresence will have its share of that sector grow to 44.3% in 2015.
