L'Or?al South Africa, the local unit of the cosmetics company, has announced that it had deployed Cisco's Unified Communications Manager 8.0. converged network provider. KSS Technologies, a Cisco Silver partner, implemented the solution.
L'Or?al employs over 500 people in South Africa. Company’s manufacturing plant is responsible for the production of Softsheen.Carson hair care and toiletry products exported throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Additionally, the plant manufactures Garnier deodorants and L'Or?al Paris Elvive shampoos and conditioners for the local market.
L'Or?al South Africa's officials commented that productivity apps like Cisco's UC offer a growing number of communications and collaboration capabilities that enable users to become more mobile.
Cisco UCM 8.0, the IP telephony call-processing component of the Cisco UC solution, provides various benefits such as reduced deployment time, improved business continuity, quicker return on investment and reduced operational costs.
