Onebox, a j2 Global Communications’ cloud phone service and a provider of hosted UC services, has recently announced launching a new version of company’s mobile app for Apple devices. The new version of the mobile application empowers Onebox customers to place and receive VoIP phone calls over a WiFi connection and a 3G/4G network.
According to the company, the latest Onebox Mobile App changes an iPhone, iPod or iPad into a business communications center that allows making phone calls over a WiFi connection and 3G/4G network using voice over IP, 24/7 auto attendant for answering and routing incoming calls professionally, as well as multiple extensions for employees with intercom functionality, improved voice mail service and advanced call handling features.
The Onebox application enables users to reduce cell phone minutes for both domestic and international calls, place high quality calls from an iPhone over WiFi and a 3G/4G network, use iPad as a phone and give an iPhone a second phone number.
