The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has announced the completion of the 2011 mobile networks benchmarking survey concerning services provided by operators in the UAE.
The survey complies with the TRA's commitment to guarantee the best quality of services delivered and assure the operators' loyalty to the terms and conditions of licenses.
The annual survey evaluates the level of services provided in order to guarantee that operators deliver the required level of services and performance to guarantee the satisfaction of users in the UAE that represents one of the key priorities of the TRA.
H.E. Mohamed Nasser Al Ghanim commented: "We are keen to perform this survey annually; it is carried out by a highly skilled workforce in order to reach a result that truly reflects the status of mobile networks and services provided. This type of survey gives us results which we use to assess the current situation of networks, determine the shortcomings, and address them in way that delivers the highest levels of service quality."
To guarantee that the testing makes a fair comparison of the mobile networks’ service, the TRA has deployed state-of-the-art test equipment that measures key performance indicators (KPI) related to the end-user experience.
