Sunrise Telecom provides additional test and verification capabilities for operators using fiber optic infrastructures that empower new data and voice business services, cloud-based apps and next-generation mobile communications.
The company has announced addition of the RxT-4000 Fiber Optics Toolkit (FOT) and the FiberScope inspection option to the company RxT Smart Productivity Test Platform.
Sunrise Telecom provides test and measurement solutions for cable, telecom and wireless networks. The RxT FOT module can be combined with the rugged, battery-operated RxT Smart Productivity Test Platform in order to result in a solution perfect for installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Carrier Ethernet and SONET/SDH fiber optic cables.
The compact RxT FOT is available in various wavelength combinations for testing single-mode and multi-mode fibers; it “features fiber optics characterization which records event location and identity for the fiber under test.”
The company claims that “the platform offers a one-button 'Auto Test Mode' to simplify testing for even the most inexperienced user.”
