Zhone Technologies, one of leaders in FTTx network access solutions, has officially stated about a new MXK deployment with Central Oklahoma Telephone Company, the independent local exchange company. Two companies are making a fiber network in order to support quick delivery of more reliable and affordable high-speed Internet access, video services and VoIP to business and residential subscribers in Davenport, Oklahoma.
Central Oklahoma Telephone Company’s residential subscribers transition to a higher quality media experience. The scalability and flexibility of the Zhone MXK platform as well as its ability to deliver Gigabit Passive Optical Network connectivity in facilitating service and network upgrades to FTTH have been demonstrated in broadband projects across the US.
Zhone’s officials commented that “this new fiber network allows Central Oklahoma Telephone Company to expand its existing CATV network and provide advanced communications and connectivity to its residential and business customers across their coverage area.”
