The company has succeed to launch Rebtel 2.0 for Android in time for 1/1/2012. If your family and friends have downloaded Rebtel 2.0 for iOS and for PC, you can phone them as well.
The company has made things easier: when you install the application, contacts are marked ‘Free’ in the application’s address book. Therefore, you can see who’s using Rebtel, and who you’d better invite to sign up.
Rebtel’s CEO explained that “in the wake of tougher times and higher Christmas spending, we wanted to time the launch of the Android version for the busiest international calling time of the year. What people really want is amazing call quality for free or very cheap prices.”
