Tango Announced Rollout of Video Voicemail Service | |
20 December 2011
Tango has announced its plans to launch a video voicemail service. Recently Microsoft selected Tango over its own Skype service to premiere video chat on the Windows Phone.
Company’s officials commented: "We want to see if we can become the place where people can keep important visual moments." The Palt Alto-based company already has 30 million users.
The new service allows users making a video call in order to leave a 30-second video message. The service is available over Wi-Fi or 3G and can be used cross-platforms between Apple's iOS and Google's Android phones.
As the company stated, they need to add more cloud storage and computing resources to existing hardware to offer the service.
Tango’s officials also claimed that users will receive free access to last five video messages but will have to pay $0.99 for 5 more messages or $1.98 for 10 more.
