PowerNet Global, a competitive communications provider of voice, data, SIP and managed solutions, has announced the addition of SIP DIDs in order to complement company’s outbound calling solution, NetDialer.
The innovative DID service provides a variety of telephone numbers that can be used to call into a company’s PBX system. The new service eliminates the necessity for a receptionist to route the calls to their destinations.
Company officials stated in a press release that this service deploys SIP technology; numbers are available quickly in comparison with traditional POTS and TDM solutions that require substantial time for turn up.
Additionally, “a company can assign its customers individual phone numbers for each person or department within the company, without requiring a physical line into the PBX for each possible connection.”
