The eFax mobile application increases employees mobility and efficiency by enabling iPhone and iPad users to send faxes without fax machine or PC.
As company stated in a press release, photos taken and stored with the iPad’s camera can be sent as a fax from the iPhone or iPad directly. Received faxes can then be viewed or forwarded later.
Company officials commented that eFax is focused on providing individuals and businesses with a more flexible, convenient, and affordable way to send and receive faxes. Company’s mobile apps represent a natural extension of that initiative.
The eFax mobile application was released in the US last year; the app has proven to be a popular business tool for eFax subscribers across the US market.
The eFax mobile app rollout in Japan demonstrates the company’s continued focus on growth in the Japanese market; the eFax customer base in Japan is about 10,000 paid subscribers.
